Villanova Wildcats 1995-1996 Retro Shorts

The Villanova Wildcats entered the '95-96 season ranked #3 in the country and national championship aspirations. Led by All-American Kerry Kittles the Wildcats went 24-4 during the regular season and 14-4 in the BIG EAST, never falling out of the AP Poll Top 10. 

Villanova was sent to the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament as the #3 seed. After dispatching #14 Portland the Wildcats lost their 2nd round match-up with #6 Louisville.
